WoW Fishing Guide: Recommended Fishing Rods

By Jurinsthea Smith

A fishing guide in WoW is never complete without a fishing rod that goes with it. Like a normal fishing activity, you must first complete all necessary equipments to successfully achieve and catch fishes. The same goes in World of Warcraft, there are fishing poles and equipments a player must choose and have.

A fishing pole to begin with must be equipped in the first place. This is very necessary because it will gauge how much fish or how plenty will you have. But do take note that only one pole can be utilized at a time. Another good thing about World of Warcraft fishing poles is that it gives bonuses to your skill. Thus, if you equip a particular fishing pole, your fishing skill will also increase. Much more it will also be added by the bonus that goes with it. To date there are different fishing poles available. However, let me present the top three poles you can be able to use in the World of Azeroth.

Top # 1: Arcanite Fishing Pole. This pole is a premium that can be obtained from a possible reward when you win the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza. It is a rare piece that can not be found for sale at the auction house. When you win that kind of reward, it will be obliged to you, thus you may not be able to sell this piece. This has a bonus skill of 40 and above requiring a minimum fishing skill of 300.

Top #2: Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole. This is perhaps the second best pole with a plus 30 skill bonus. Any aspiring fisherman or fisherwoman can buy this piece from Tanaika in the Tuskarr Village of Kamagua or Sairuk in Moa'ki Harbor. This cost 100 gold. Furthermore what is unique with this fishing rod is it grants underwater breathing to those who have it. However the player must have exalted reputation with regards to the Kalu'ak faction in order to have this.

Top # 3: Jeweled Fishing Pole. This is a rare find in Fishing Treasures Bag of Northrend when you comply the daily fishing quests. As its name implies, this pole shines like a jewel shining in the sun. When found, this is automatically limited to the owner thus it can be exchanged nor traded. This adds a 30 bonus to your skill that requires a minimum fishing skill of 300. In addition, it also requires the player to level 70.

These are only the three most unique and sought after fishing poles in the world of Azeroth. For starters there are many different fishing poles according to their level and fishing capacity. So climb your way up the ladder and make sure you can be able to get a fishing rod prepared for you. Thus, before launching some fishing guides in WoW, be sure to equip yourself with a beautiful rod.
